I just had my first experience with getting a haircut from Tosin and it was the greatest haircut experience I’ve ever had. I was visiting Florida during the winter break from college and I needed a haircut before the semester began the following week. I hadn’t cut my hair in four months because I couldn’t find anyone trustworthy enough to let near my head which is an unfortunate reality for people with wavy/curly hair. But I did some research and I took a chance on scheduling an appointment with Tosin. It completely exceeded any expectations I had. She was very communicative during the scheduling process and when I showed up for my appointment, I could sense the positive energy radiating from her salon. She offered me water and a snack and consulted me briefly about what I wanted for my hair today and let me browse some reference photos on Pinterest. After the consult, she started to cut my hair very gently and with a high attention to detail. She is a lovely conversationalist and helped me break out of my initial shy demeanour which few people get me to do. Tosin’s kindness and intellect is so charming and genuine which made my appointment so much fun and enjoyable. However, what stood out to me was how willing she was to explain to me ways of taking care of my hair and maintaining it. I never once felt pressure to buy any products, but she explained how certain products could help with maintaining my hair’s health. She was so detailed in her explanations of what the products do, what they’re made of, how to apply them, how frequently to use them, and more. She helped me build a new hair routine that I can do at home and taught me that washing my hair every day is not necessarily the best thing. She even went so far as to identify my hair type, style, density, oiliness, etc. and used that information to build a hair routine for me to follow. It was never overwhelming and I truly learned so much. Nobody in my life — not even my parents — told me how to take care of my hair, but Tosin was incredible at explaining it all to me in a fun and engaging way. For the first time in my life, I no longer have anxiety about my hair. I arrived at Tosin’s studio anxious, shy, and confused about my hair. I left feeling calm, outgoing, and informed about my hair. I wholeheartedly recommend anyone to visit Tosin Elizebeth’s Hair Salon for a truly life changing experience. She is such a wonderful person and I wish her all the best in her future endeavours. She will be the only person who I will fully trust with my hair, and even if I have to wait another four months before I’m back in Florida for a visit, I will wait until then to have Tosin cut my hair. Hopefully you won’t have to wait as long as me, but I assure you it will certainly be worth it.

My first impressions of Tosin Elizebeth Hair Salon was Classy! I had a color consultation and she took her time to find out about me and what I wanted. She didn't rush my color selection and was a driving force in helping me select what was BEST for me not was quickest or easiest. I made an appointment for services and look forward to creating a colorful masterpiece...on my head. :-)

Coming to Tosin’s salon for an initial consultation was one of the best choices I could make for my hair. She helped me to see how to make my hair fit my lifestyle and not the other way around and what is best for the health of my hair. 10/10 recommend her!

Tosin is an absolutely amazing hairstylist. I came to her at a time when my curls were struggling! She helped get my curls back healthly then and now that I have microlocs, my hair continues to thrive in her hands. The Best In Tampa!!!!

Tosin Elizabeth Hair Salon is THE salon you need for all your hair care needs!! Her warm smile and personality made me feel at ease the moment I walked in. Her hospitality is NEXT LEVEL, and her salon suite is luxuriously peaceful. She asked very intentional questions to help me identify the history of my hair, my current care regimen, and my future hair goals. She then helped me understand the changes I could make and encouraged me to be consistent & trust the process. I previously combed out my locs and am a 3x postpartum mom and she was honest about the state of my hair and then so gentle & kind during the entire experience. And an EXPERIENCE IT WAS! The wash and deep condition felt like I was at the spa. I told my husband after that I think this is the cleanest my scalp has ever felt! Since, I’m recently transitioning to my loose natural curls, I truly just want healthy hair and to retain length. She helped me pick a style that is both low tension & manipulation but also versatile & low maintenance, which are all important to me and my goals. I enjoyed moments of silence just soaking it all in; plus, the conversation we shared was TOP-TIER. I could go on & on yall, but don’t take my word for it.. don’t walk, RUN to come see Tosin and experience her services for yourself!!
